Debby’s Shrimp Boil

  • 3 oz crab boil seasoning (looks like a tea bag) (in spice isle)
  • 3 tsb old bay
  • 3 lbs small new potatoes
  • 5 ears of corn cut in half
  • 2 lbs smoke and spicy sausage links
  • 4lbs large pealed shrimp
  • 3 lemons halved
  • 16 qt pot

In a 16 qt pot bring to gallons of water to boil
Add old bay and boil bag
Add potatoes and cook covered for 10 min
Add corn simmer 5 min
Add shrimp cook 3- 6 min or until all are done! ( Do not over cook shrimp)
Drain and serve with lemon juice and cocktail sauce .

Stuffed Mushrooms

  • 1 pound large mushrooms
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 3 green onions, minced
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons minced red bell pepper
  • 4 ounces crab meat
  • 1 cup fresh fine bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cajun or Creole seasoning blend
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

Wash and trim the end of stems from mushrooms. Pop remaining stem out. Chop stems and set aside. Melt 2 tablespoons butter; brush over mushrooms. Spray a shallow baking dish (about 8-inch square, or one which will fit mushrooms in one layer) with butter-flavored spray or grease with butter.
Melt remaining butter in skillet; add reserved chopped stems, minced green onions and red bell pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender. Combine cooked ingredients with bread crumbs, crab meat, and seasonings. Fill each mushrooms, piling up. Sprinkle each mushroom with a little Parmesan cheese, if desired. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes, until hot and mushroom caps are tender.
Makes 16 to 20 stuffed mushroom appetizers.

Better Than Sex Cake

  • Yellow cake mix plus ingredients
  • 1 20oz can crushed pineapple
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 3.4 oz French Vanilla pudding plus ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 Cup coconut (toasted)

Bake cake as box directs.
Mix pudding as box directs
Use dowel to to poke hole all the way through the cake.
Mix one cup sugar and drained pineapple in a sauce pan and heat to a boil. Cool slightly
Pour in cake holes and cool
After cooled add pudding over the top
Mix 1/3 cup sugar and 1 1/2 cup wiping cream and wip to peaks
spread over the top and top with toasted coconut - fudge-like!

  • 1 oz – Fire fly lemon ice team flavored vodka
  • Splash cranberry juice

Pour 1 oz fire fly lemon ice tea vodka over ice
Add splash of cranberry juice
Enjoy
