Dan Arensmeier

VISTA TV recently landed an exclusive interview with a true renaissance man. An art student turned Corporate Executive turned Ad-man turned internationally recognized impressionist painter, Dan Arensmeier has seen and done it all.

After leaving the University of Oregon, Dan went to work for the Xerox Corporation in 1962. Dan was part of the Xerox Corporation when they went from $0-$1billion in sales – The first company to ever do that in a 10-year span. While at Xerox, Dan served as Industry manager, Product Manager, Branch Manager and Program Development Manager.

After Xerox, Dan went on to work for major firms that included Riverton Properties, Hill Pond Development Corporation, Basic Telecommunications and founded The Marketing Department Inc. a marketing communications firm. He then became a partner and then President of Tallant –Yates Advertising, Inc., a full service business-to-business advertising agency. The impressive client list included Hewlett Packard, Johnson & Johnson, Parc Place, Farralon, Pentax, Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In 1992 Dan became a partner and Creative Director in Baum, Arensmeier & Talent, Inc. and international strategic marketing firm founded by Mary A. Baum, headquartered in Denver, Colorado.

In 2002 Dan founded and became a partner at Arensmeier Partners LLC, a consulting firm that works with start up companies preparing to raise $100,000 or more in capital to participate in Merger & Acquisition transactions. Clients include Nature Air in Costa Rica, software companies in California and Washington, an oil exploration company in British Columbia, and a commodities company in Africa.

Also in 2002, Dan began to refocus his attention on one of his true loves, painting, and now has a studio and gallery in the George Schleier Mansion in downtown Denver. He was commissioned to design and apply paint schemes to Nature Air in Costa Rica making him the most recognized impressionist painter in the country. His work can be seen in private collections in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Denver, Boulder, Chicago and Shanghai.
